LIS research jointly administered by CT, NY Sea Grant programs

Connecticut Sea Grant (CTSG) and New York Sea Grant (NYSG) jointly administer the Long Island Sound Study (LISS) extra-mural research program. The LISS research grant call is currently closed. Please check back early in 2022 for the next RFP.

The intent of this program is to fund research that will support the management of Long Island Sound (LIS) and its resources. The Long Island Sound Study is a regional, community-based partnership to protect and restore the Sound.

For the 2021-2023 cycle, approximately $3,000,000 in funding was made available for one- or two-year projects.
