Flier for Long Island Sound Sustainable & Resilient Communities Bi-State WorkshopThe Long Island Sound Sustainable & Resilient Communities Bi-State Workshop will take place virtually on Dec. 1 from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

It will bring together local government, Indigenous, tribal, and community leaders, nonprofits, and other stakeholders from both Connecticut and New York to learn more about opportunities to increase the resilience of coastal Long Island Sound communities to various environmental challenges.

A final agenda will be shared with registrants leading up to December 1st, but sessions will include: tips for success with Long Island Sound funding opportunities, information on a new grant-writing assistance program, and breakouts for focused discussion on shoreline planning, using green infrastructure for stormwater management, and managed retreat.
