Tessa L. Getchis is an aquaculture extension specialist with the Connecticut Sea Grant and UConn Extension Program. Her focus is on shellfish husbandry, shellfisheries management and the aquaculture permitting process. She offers industry consultations and training workshops, conducts collaborative research projects with industry and is engaged in public outreach. Tessa is based at the University of Connecticut Avery Point campus.
