Grants

Connecticut Sea Grant is a federal-state partnership, housed at the University of Connecticut, which seeks to foster the sustainable use and conservation of coastal and marine resources.  CTSG accomplishes this mission through a three-pronged approach of research, outreach and education.  CTSG provides a diversity of funding opportunities for researchers, including omnibus funding awards offered on a two-year basis, smaller development or seed grants, strategic initiative grants and various student fellowships.  CTSG funds both natural and social science research, and we would like to expand our portfolio of coastally relevant social science research in the future.  Finally, CTSG offers funding for the arts through our competitive Arts Grant Program.
