“Science Finds Its Song,” published in the Feb. 5, 2026, issue of the journal Nature, explores how scientists are using music to communicate to a broader audience. The article, by Jane Palmer, includes an interview with Molly James, UConn oceanography doctoral candidate, about the “Harmony of Nature” project funded by Connecticut Sea Grant that uses oceanographic data to create music.
