Two great marine science events offered at Sound School

Flier about Aquaculture in Action workshop at The Sound School in New Haven with information about program, agenda and registration link.Registration is open for two programs in September at The Sound School co-sponsored by Maryland Sea Grant. The school is located at 60 S. Water Street in New Haven.

The first, “Aquaculture in Action,” will focus on recirculating aquaculture systems and water quality monitoring in classrooms. It will take place on Sept. 26 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The second workshop, on Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon, is “Biofilms, Biodiversity and Microplastics.” This program will focus on biodiversity and the conservation of marine species and habitats that depend on identification of communities of organisms and assessing the health of the ecosystem.
