Video tells story of CT Sea Grant’s “Crosscurrents” exhibit

A six-minute video about “Crosscurrents,” the 10-year retrospective exhibit of artists supported by the Connecticut Sea Grant’s Arts Support Awards Program, is now available for viewing. Learn how the exhibit of 35 multimedia works by 13 artists came together, how it was used in classrooms at Avery Point, and hear from some of the artists as well as co-curators Syma Ebbin, Sea Grant’s research coordinator, and Chris Platts, curator of the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery.

The exhibit was on display at the gallery from Jan. 24 to April 7 as part of Connecticut Sea Grant’s 30th anniversary year celebration.

The video was created by Middlesex Community College’s New Media Productions Center, with production and editing done by Dan Nocera and Judy Prill, and videography by Prill and Lloyd Langevin.
