Spongy arrowhead, Parker’s Pipewort and Atlantic mudwort are three species at risk in the Connecticut River Estuary. You can help protect these important native plants by learning more about them and about invasive aquatic plants such as water chestnut and hydrilla. More information about water chestnut and hydrilla can be found at: https://seagrant.uconn.edu/?p=6531.
