LIS Flier for Long Island Sound Mentor Teacher workshop at Hammonasset Beach State Park on July 19, 2025Mentor Teachers Elizabeth Brown and Curt Hayes from the Charles H. Barrows STEM Academy will lead a “Dive Deep into Long Island Sound” workshop at Meigs Point at Hammonasset Beach State Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 19, 2025. Participants will explore contrasting environments to investigate adaptations, energy transfer, and the gathering of evidence to support a scientific argument. All activities incorporate CT NGSS standards. Materials and resources will be provided. To register, use the QR code on the flier.
