CT Sea Grant and partner organizations hosted free virtual workshops on resilience fundamentals related to our region in September. Attendees learned about climate change projections and impacts, strategies for resilience planning, and local climate certification programs.
Focused on resilience in the Long Island Sound region, the series introduced resilience planning strategies, offered field trips to other communities for project inspiration, and shared efficient ways to connect with the resources needed to develop impactful projects.
The workshops featured speakers from three partner organizations: Sustainable CT; Cameron Engineering; and the Sustainability Institute.
A video of the workshops can be found here.
