“Steps to Resilience” workshops offered this fall

 

flier for Steps to Resilience workshopCT Sea Grant and partner organizations will host a free virtual workshop on resilience fundamentals related to our region on two dates: Sept. 19 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; and Sept. 21 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Attendees will learn about climate change projections and impacts, strategies for resilience planning, and local climate certification programs.

Focused on resilience in the Long Island Sound region, the series will introduce resilience planning strategies, offer field trips to other communities for project inspiration, and share efficient ways to connect with the resources you need to develop impactful projects.

The workshops will feature speakers from three partner organizations: Sustainable CT; Cameron Engineering; and the Sustainability Institute.
