The Spring-Summer 2022 issue of Wrack Lines magazine has received an Award of Excellence in the 2023 APEX/Communications Concepts Awards for Publication Excellence. Winners of the annual awards contest were chosen from among more than 1,100 entries nationwide.
The issue features articles and photographs around the theme of “All Creatures Great and Mostly Small: From the Sea to the Sky to Your Garden.” Included are stories about diving in Long Island Sound; bird painter Rex Brasher; copepod response to climate change conditions, beneficial insects; and the “shellfish paradise” of Oyster Creek in Fairfield.
