Payne named to Global Group of Ocean Literacy Experts
UNESCO has established an international Group of Experts on Ocean Literacy, with 20 members from diverse disciplines, stakeholder groups, geographical regions, and with a focus on gender balance. The group includes CTSG Education Coordinator Diana Payne.

National Estuarine Reserve celebration set for May 21
UConn is joining with partners at the local, federal and state levels including CT Sea Grant to celebrate the establishment of the Connecticut National Estuarine Research Reserve. The event will take place at 11 a.m. on May 21 at the Avery Point campus, where the CT NERR will be headquartered.
